Arts in Education Week

by Amanda Davis, Marketing Associate VISTA

This week is National Arts in Education Week and as you know we here at Theatre Action Project are big on supporting arts education. I recently read this great article about ways that you can help to support Arts Education and keep it active within the schools. I really wanted to share this article by Kristen Engebretsen of the Arts Education Network called “10 WAYS TO SUPPORT ARTS EDUCATION.”  Also if you wonder why you should support arts education, you should check out Randy Cohen‘s blog article titled “The Top 10 Reasons to Support the Arts (from Arts Watch).

About creativeactionaustin

Creative Action is a unique blend of art and education – for us, the two are intertwined. We believe that using the arts as a teaching method provides a fun, engaging and inspiring way to learn – it incorporates the whole mind and body.
