CLYTE Fall 2011 Hill Country Retreat

CLYTE Fall 2011 Hill Country Retreat

by Nitra Gutierrez, Middle School and High School Program Associate

The Changing Lives Youth Theatre Ensemble has returned home safely from our Fall 2011 Hill Country Retreat.  Our group, along with several stellar volunteer chaperones had a blast at the Candlelight Ranch.  We were able to develop our teamwork skills, participate in an acting workshop, cook together and eat as a family and hang out in a beautiful Hill Country setting.

Many thanks to TAP & SafePlace as well as our hosts, parents and volunteers whose support helped make this retreat the amazing experience it was!

We believe that using the arts as a teaching method provides a fun, engaging and inspiring way to learn – it incorporates the whole mind and body.
