Thank you to Emily Tindall!

by Karen LaShelle, Executive and Artistic Director

Friday marked the last day for one of our finest employees, Emily Tindall, here at Theatre Action Project.  Emily has overseen our grant from the Community Youth Development (CYD) office in the City of Austin Department of Health and Human Services for our work in the 78744 Dove Springs neighborhood for the past 2 years, and has been working with TAP in a variety of other capacities for the past 4 years. She has truly done it all having taught, performed, administered and managed TAP programs working with youth K-12th grade.

Emily brought an incredible work ethic and professionalism to her job while still managing to be fun, flexible and lighthearted.  Her work helped more than 2,000 young people in Dove Springs participate in counter-bullying, leadership and creative expression programs. Her incredible ability to successfully manage a truly complicated public grant will forever leave a mark on the way we do things at TAP.

Emily is leaving to go to grad school full time to pursue a career in pediatric nursing. While we will miss Emily so much, we are so proud of her and know she is a caring and gifted person who will bring so much to her new career.
